🚀 MAGNIFIC Project: Preliminary Results Presented at CMD31 Conference

The MAGNIFIC project team – Gloria Conte, Jouni Ahopelto, Catalina Coll, and Laura Mercadé – recently presented preliminary results at the CMD31 conference in Braga, Portugal. The project focuses on integrating nanocrystalline silicon (nc-Si) into ICT applications, particularly in the area of Nano-opto-electro-mechanical systems (NOEMS).

CMD31, held from September 2nd to 6th, 2024, is a major international event in condensed matter and materials physics. With over 1,000 attendees, it covers a wide range of topics, from semiconductor physics to materials science and quantum physics. The conference featured plenary talks by leading scientists and sessions on cutting-edge research, providing an ideal platform to present the progress made by the MAGNIFIC team.

These preliminary results mark an important step forward in the project, and more updates will follow as the research continues.
