The 1st ESRA Symposium, organized by the newly founded Early Stage Researchers Association (ESRA), took place at INL on November 19-20, 2024
This event brought together master’s students, PhD candidates, and early-career postdocs to share ideas and present their research. Researchers from the MAGNIFIC project, including Gloria Conte and Omid Ranjbar, also participated, contributing their expertise to the discussions and disseminating the results of the MAGNIFIC project. Highlights included a poster on “Nanocrystalline Silicon for Optomechanical Applications” and a talk on “Hypersonic coherent phonon detection with laser Doppler vibrometer at 2 GHz”.
